Tucson Sugar Skulls

Jovon White enters his first season with the Tucson Sugar Skulls and in the IFL in 2022.

White played professionally in 2021 with the Amarillo Venom of the CIF league. 

He played college football at Fitchburg State University, where in three years with the Falcons he recorded 110 tackles – 73 of them solo – nine interceptions, one fumble recovery, 10 pass breakups and five tackles-for-loss.

A native of Meriden, Connecticut, White attended Orville Platt High School, where he was his team’s defensive MVP his senior year and was named to the CCC All-Conference team twice. He recorded 194 tackles, two quarterback sacks, four QB hurries, five interceptions, three forced fumbles and 10 pass breakups on defense during three varsity seasons while catching 13 passes for 199 yards and three touchdowns offensively.
