
Edmund Marquez
Edmund Marquez is the President and majority-owner of the Tucson Sugar Skulls, the professional indoor football team, a franchise of the IFL. He is also the owner of the Edmund Marquez Allstate Insurance Agencies in Tucson, Arizona, and is known for leading one of the largest Hispanic-owned Allstate agency groups in the United States. Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, Edmund attended Sabino High School and Pima Community College before earning a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Arizona. He also holds a business certificate from Stanford University.
Currently, Edmund serves as the Chairman of The Boys and Girls Clubs of Tucson and the United Way’s Tocqueville Society, is Vice-Chairman of the Rio Nuevo board, and Immediate Past Chairman of the Tucson Metro Chamber and the Arizona Sands Club. His commitment to community leadership is evident through his role on the Boards of Directors of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council. Edmund has previously served as the Chairman of the Board of United Way, The Pima Community College Foundation and the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Edmund has received several accolades, including being named the “Businessman of the Year” by the Tucson Hispanic Chamber, awarded the “Tucson Strong Award” from the Snoop Dog Arizona Bowl, and awarded the Distinguished Citizen by Scouting America. He was also honored with the “Breath of Life Award” by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the “Father of the Year” award by the Father’s Day Council. Furthermore, he received the “Centennial Service Award” from the United Way, and the “Platinum Cactus Award” from the Tucson Metro Chamber. Edmund’s achievements have led to his induction into the Sabino High School Hall of Fame, the Pi Kappa Alpha Hall of Honor, and the Southern Arizona YMCA Hall of Fame.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Edmund has raised millions of dollars for local non-profits with his high energy and enthusiasm as an emcee to numerous community events throughout the Tucson community. Edmund is also a valued member of the Tucson Airport Authority and the National Leadership Council of the University of Arizona Foundation.

Ali Farhang
Ali is a community activist and high school football coach who believes that making positive differences in one’s community is an enormous aspect of living a successful life.
Ali is also an AV-rated attorney who practices in the areas of labor and employment, business consultation, commercial litigation, and personal injury defense.
Ali has litigated a wide variety of employment, traditional labor, corporate, and general liability matters. Additionally, Ali has advised and assisted management clients seeking to enforce restrictive covenants with respect to a multitude of federal and state compliance issues. He also acts as de facto general counsel to several significant corporate clients who conduct business across multiple jurisdictions.
