 Krystal Soto serves as the Tucson Sugar Skulls' Vice President of Community Relations, leading partnerships, outreach, and fan engagement across     Southern Arizona. With a background in broadcasting, marketing, and public   speaking, she is dedicated to building meaningful connections, empowering   local communities, and elevating the   Sugar Skulls experience on and off the field.

  Vice President of Administration

 Valeri Bustamante-Rago serves as Vice President of Administration for the Tucson Sugar Skulls, joining the organization alongside new ownership. With       deep roots in the Tucson community spanning over 40 years, Valeri brings extensive local knowledge, operational leadership, and a strong commitment to   supporting the team's continued growth and success. Valeri has worked side-by-side with Team President, Edmund Marquez, in a leadership role in his   award-winning Insurance Agency for the past 29 years. A longtime supporter of the Tucson Sugar Skulls, Valeri has enjoyed following the team well before   becoming part of the organization.

 Content/Activation Coordinator & Partnership Lead

 Yasmine Lopez is a proud first-generation Mexican American, born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. Her passion for live television took shape during her time   at Northern Arizona University, where she joined the Fox Sports Arizona campus production crew. It only took one countdown — "three, two, one, we're   live!" — for her to fall in love with the energy and adrenaline of live sports broadcasting.

 Yasmine launched her professional career in 2014 at KOLD News 13 in Tucson as a part-time editor. After a brief move to FOX 10 Phoenix to explore a larger   market, she returned home in 2018, stepping into the role   of Morning Editor/Reporter and becoming the host of "Taste This Tucson," a popular segment   celebrating the food and culture of the Old Pueblo. Making the transition from news to sports, Yasmine now brings her   creative drive and media expertise   to the Tucson Sugar Skulls of the Indoor Football League, serving as the organization's Content Coordinator and Partnership Marketing/Activation   Lead. Even with her       packed schedule, Yasmine remains deeply connected to her community. She proudly serves as one of the In-Arena Hosts for the   Tucson Roadrunners hockey team and as a morning radio co-host on Beef   Vegan Presents on Rock 102.1 KFMA.

 Corporate Partnership Marketing Associate 

 Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Lauren Saenz is entering her third season with the Tucson Sugar Skulls. After spending two seasons as a Game   Operations intern, she transitioned into a full-time front office role, where she now supports corporate partnerships and plays a key role in finalizing   sponsorship deals and activations.

 Lauren is a proud University of Arizona student with a background in Strategic Communications and experience in the Athletic Training Program, giving her a   strong foundation in sports operations, media, and partner relations. She brings creativity, professionalism, and true hometown pride to every project she   works on.

 Ticket Operations Representative  
 

 Steven Geiger is a Ticket Operations Representative specializing in season ticket sales for an indoor football organization. Known for his approachable style   and genuine enthusiasm for connecting with fans, Steven focuses on creating memorable customer experiences while helping grow the team's loyal   community.

 Before launching his career in sports sales, Steven was a multi-sport college athlete, competing in both football and baseball. He played a key role on his   collegiate baseball team, contributing to a conference championship title. His athletic background fuels his competitive drive and team-first mindset.

 Steven began his academic journey at Lawrence before transferring to Plymouth State University, where he earned his degree and graduated summa cum   laude in May 2025. His blend of academic achievement, athletic discipline, and passion for sports makes him a dedicated professional committed to   excellence on and off the field.
