Tucson Sugar Skulls

Jazeric Peterson enters his second season with the Tucson Sugar Skulls and his third season in the IFL in 2022.

Peterson was the Sugar Skulls’ second leading receiver in 2021, racking up 283 yards on 29 receptions. He also caught three touchdowns.

His rookie season in the IFL in 2019 was a breakout one, as Peterson was sixth in the league in receiving yards per game with 51.5 and 10th in total receiving yards with 566.

Peterson played college football at Faulkner University, where in 2014 he played in 11 games, catching 29 passes for 558 yards and eight touchdowns. Peterson previously played for Alabama State.

A native of Columbus, Alabama, Peterson played football and basketball at Houston County High School, where in his senior year he caught 45 passes for 894 yards and 13 touchdowns.
