Tucson Sugar Skulls

Connor Taylor joins the Sugar Skulls for his first season. He played for two years at Snow College where he was named National Junior College Association (NJCAA) Defensive Player of the Year before transferring to Louisiana Tech. Not only was Taylor recognized for his defensive play but also received recognition for his outstanding academics in the classroom. During his senior year, Taylor led the team recording 75 tackles one fumble recovery, and two forced fumbles. 
 
Prior to his collegiate career, Connor attended Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah, graduating in 2016 where he was a two-sport athlete lettering three years in football and two years in wrestling.  Connor was named First Team All-State and Region MVP, accumulating 270 tackles, 10 forced fumbles, and four interceptions at Davis High.
