Biography

Brayden Utley joins the Tucson Sugar Skulls for his rookie season in the IFL in 2024. 

A productive defensive lineman for the Baylor Bears during his four-year collegiate stint, Utley recorded 57 career tackles and three sacks over that span. Named a First-Team All-Academic member during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. He notably made a season-high four tackles to go along with a QB hurry against Albany in 2022. 

Played at Loyola HS for head coach Rick Pedroarias where he saw action on the offensive line, defensive line, and linebacker where he was a “Jack of all trades” standout performer. He was a 2017 Mission League honorable mention selection. 

Utley is from Huntington Beach, California.
