Biography

Quinton Pedroza will be joining the Sugar Skulls for his first season with the team and second in the IFL. He spent 2019 with the Quad City Steamwheelers, when he was the leading receiver on the No. 1 passing offense in the league (194.9 yards per game). That season, “Q” finished second in the IFL in receptions (63), third in receiving yards (918) and second in receiving touchdowns (25) leading him to a First Team All-IFL selection. In addition to his honors on the field, Pedroza was selected as the recipient of the Adam Pringle Man of the Year Award, given annually to the player or coach who exemplifies outstanding service and dedication to their surrounding community.

Having played collegiately at the University of Hawaii for two seasons (2014-2015), Pedroza hauled in 82 receptions for 968 yards and four touchdowns for the Rainbow Warriors. Prior to transferring to Hawaii, Pedroza started his college career at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and played two seasons for the Utes (2011-2012). That season, he was selected all-conference, All-Valley, All-San Bernadino County and was the league’s MVP while contributing to the Cowboys 11-1 record and league title.
