Tucson Sugar Skulls

Djimon Brooks returns to the Sugar Skulls for his second season in the IFL in 2025. 

In the 2024 season, Brooks played 12 games and finished with 13 solo tackles, 12 assists, and 2.5 sacks. 

Brooks, a redshirt senior defensive tackle for Georgia Tech football, showcased his skills throughout the 2020 season, playing in all 10 games and starting in eight. He ranked ninth overall, second among defensive linemen, and led the defensive tackles with 30 tackles, including a sack and three tackles for loss.  In the 2019 season, he finished 11th overall and second among defensive linemen with 27 tackles, 13 of which were solo efforts. 

Before his collegiate career, Brooks excelled at Washington County High School, earning all-region recognition as a varsity letter winner. His high school career culminated in a second-straight state championship game appearance as a junior in 2014. Brooks is native to Albany, GA.
